Houston, Texas — More than a year after Timothy “Big Tim” Morris was gunned down in northwest Houston, his family continues to search for answers and justice.
This case was shared with The Vivid Faces of the Vanished by Timothy’s aunt, who hopes renewed attention will help bring investigators closer to identifying the person responsible for his death.
Timothy Morris was 32 years old.
On November 23, 2024, Houston Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 8100 block of Mills Road.
When officers arrived, they found Timothy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near his Jeep Cherokee, which was parked in a residential lot.
Despite emergency efforts, he died at the scene.
Timothy Morris Investigation
According to investigators, Timothy had recently parked his vehicle when an unknown individual approached and opened fire.
Authorities reported that he suffered three gunshot wounds.
The shooter fled before officers arrived.
Witnesses described the suspect as a male believed to be in his 20s or 30s wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
Despite investigative efforts, the gunman has not been publicly identified.
The motive for the shooting has not been released.
Family Continues Search for Answers
Timothy’s family says the loss has left a permanent void in their lives.
More than a year later, they continue to seek accountability for the person responsible for taking him from them.
His loved ones hope someone who knows what happened will come forward and provide the information needed to move the case forward.
The Houston Police Department Homicide Division and Crime Stoppers of Houston continue to investigate the case.
A reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to the identification, arrest, or charging of the person responsible.
