Christian “Twin” Muse Told His Father He’d Be Right Back — Then He Vanished

Nineteen-year-old Christian “Twin” Muse told his father he would be right back.
He never returned.
What Christian’s father reportedly learned months later raised even more troubling questions about what may have happened to his son.
Christian Disappears
On the night of July 15, 2012, Christian left after telling his father, Michael Muse, that he would return.
Christian was subsequently reported as last seen in the Glass Manor area of Oxon Hill, Maryland.
Days passed without him coming home.
On July 20, his father reported him missing.
There were no answers.
A Disturbing Development Months Later
Approximately nine months after Christian vanished, the case reportedly took a troubling turn.
According to Michael, a detective with the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department contacted him while investigating a child trafficking operation. The detective was reportedly searching for Christian and other young males who could potentially serve as witnesses in the investigation.
But none of the boys could be found.
Christian had reportedly been exploited by adults associated with the suspected trafficking operation, and his father came to believe that whatever his son had witnessed — or whatever may have happened to him — could be connected to his disappearance.
However, no definitive connection between Christian’s disappearance and the trafficking investigation has been publicly established.
Questions That Remain
Christian’s disappearance reportedly received little to no media attention until the summer of 2013, approximately a year after he vanished.
He was 19 years old when he disappeared, stood approximately 5’11” tall, and weighed about 145 pounds.
Christian was last known to be wearing a short-sleeved shirt with black-and-white specks and khaki pants.
More than 14 years later, Christian “Twin” Muse has never been found.
His father was left trying to understand how his son could walk away saying he would be right back, disappear without a trace, and then reportedly become part of the conversation surrounding an investigation into something as serious as child trafficking.
What Christian knew, who was around him before he vanished, and whether anyone connected to that investigation knows what happened to him remain unanswered questions.
Until evidence provides those answers, Christian remains missing and his family remains without the truth about what happened after he left that night in July 2012.
