She Was Last Seen at a Gas Station. Then Nyeasha Pickens Was Gone.
Cordele, Georgia — July 5, 2025
Nyeasha Pickens was only 19 years old when she vanished into the early morning darkness of downtown Cordele, Georgia.
To the people who loved her, she was known as “Mama.”
She had spent the Fourth of July surrounded by friends and family during a holiday weekend that should have ended with laughter and memories.
Instead, it ended with a disappearance that remains unsolved more than a year later.
Nyeasha Never Made It to the Gathering
On July 4, 2025, Nyeasha spent the holiday celebrating with loved ones.
Later that night, she and a cousin reportedly dropped her younger sister off at home before planning to attend an apartment gathering.
But according to people at the gathering, Nyeasha never arrived.
The last confirmed sighting of her came around 2:00 a.m. on July 5.
Security footage captured Nyeasha at the Enmarket gas station at 402 South 7th Street in Cordele shortly before she disappeared.
The footage reportedly showed Nyeasha getting into a vehicle and leaving the gas station.
She has not been seen since.
Investigators Followed Leads From the Gas Station
According to investigators, Nyeasha’s cousin later told police that they met one of Nyeasha’s male friends at the gas station and that Nyeasha left with him.
Authorities investigated leads involving a possible individual known as “Quan,” but those efforts did not lead investigators to Nyeasha.
As the months passed, multiple law enforcement agencies joined the search.
The Cordele Police Department, Crisp County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Bureau of Investigation have all worked the case.
Search teams deployed drones over rural areas that were difficult to reach on foot.
K-9 units were used to track scents.
Authorities also executed multiple search warrants in 2026 while looking for physical evidence connected to Nyeasha’s disappearance.
Still, none of those efforts has brought her home.
Her 20th Birthday Passed Without Her
In April 2026, Nyeasha’s loved ones marked her 20th birthday without knowing where she was.
A birthday that should have been celebrated with her became another painful reminder of how long she had been gone.
Her family has continued searching, waiting and hoping for information that can finally explain what happened after she left that Cordele gas station.
Nyeasha Pickens Remains Missing
Nyeasha was 19 years old when she disappeared.
She is described as 5’6” tall and approximately 160 pounds, with brown eyes and dark hair that may have contained bright red dye or streaks.
When she was last seen, Nyeasha was wearing a white crop top and cheetah-print shorts with the words “BIG MAMA” written across the back.
More than a year has now passed since the last confirmed sighting of Nyeasha Pickens.
Despite searches, warrants, investigative leads and the involvement of multiple law enforcement agencies, her whereabouts remain unknown.
A $5,000 reward remains available for information leading to Nyeasha’s whereabouts.
