ABOUT THE VIVID FACES OF THE VANISHED

Every Story Matters. Every Life Matters.

The Vivid Faces of the Vanished was founded on one simple belief: every missing person, every homicide victim, and every unidentified individual deserves to be remembered.

Far too many cases receive little media attention, fade from public awareness, or are forgotten altogether. Behind every headline is a family searching for answers, a community forever changed, and a life that mattered.

Our mission is to keep those stories alive.

Through factual reporting, advocacy, and public awareness, The Vivid Faces of the Vanished shines a light on missing persons, unsolved murders, child cases, unidentified remains, and significant case developments. We work to amplify the voices of families, encourage public engagement, and help ensure these cases remain visible long after the news cameras have moved on.

What We Do

  • Publish accurate, research-based case stories.
  • Share missing person and homicide investigations from across the United States.
  • Highlight cold cases, unidentified remains, and major case updates.
  • Work directly with families seeking additional awareness.
  • Promote community involvement through advocacy and responsible storytelling.

Our Commitment

Every case published on this website is approached with compassion, accuracy, and respect for victims and their loved ones. We believe advocacy begins with truth, and we are committed to presenting information responsibly while helping keep these stories in the public eye.

Family Submissions

If you have a missing loved one, an unsolved homicide, an unidentified remains case, or an important case update that deserves wider attention, we welcome you to contact us.

Our goal is simple:

To ensure that every face is seen, every story is heard, and no family feels forgotten.

About the Founder

The Vivid Faces of the Vanished was founded by Nicole McQueary, a victim advocate and storyteller dedicated to raising awareness for missing persons, homicide victims, and families still searching for answers.

Through years of advocacy and reporting, Nicole has built one of the largest independent social media communities focused on missing persons and unsolved cases, reaching hundreds of thousands of people and helping bring continued public attention to cases that might otherwise be overlooked.

Her work is driven by a belief that every victim deserves dignity, every family deserves support, and every story deserves to be told with compassion, accuracy, and purpose.
