Tampa, Florida — The Shamika Jones disappearance has remained unsolved for more than a decade, leaving her family searching for answers and hoping someone will come forward with information about what happened to the 29-year-old Tampa woman.
On August 2, 2011, Shamika Chantell Jones was last seen at approximately 2:00 p.m. leaving the home she shared with her cousin on Mariners Cove Court in Tampa, Florida.
According to family members, Shamika walked out of the residence and never returned. She has never been seen or heard from again.
Loved ones describe Shamika as caring, vibrant, and full of life. Her sudden disappearance left family and friends devastated and struggling to understand what happened after she left home that afternoon.
At the time of her disappearance, Shamika was 29 years old. She stood 5’2″ tall and weighed approximately 130 pounds.
Despite the passage of more than 14 years, the circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unknown. No public answers have been provided regarding where Shamika went after leaving her home, and her family continues to seek information that could help bring resolution to the case.
